• New Emerson High Pressure Relief Valves Broaden Overpressure Protection Offering McKINNEY, TEXAS (July 17, 2012) – Emerson Process Management has expanded its overpressure protection offering with additional sizes for the EZH, EZR and FL Series relief valve and backpressure regulators. Pilot operated relief valves and backpressure regulators are used for overpressure protection in natural gas systems to protect pipelines and gas processing equipment downstream of the regulator. • Article in Pipeline & Gas Journal describes Wisconsin Public Service Using EZH and EZHSO Regulators To Retrofit a City Gate Station Types EZH and EZHSO regulators arranged in a Wide – Open Monitor System were used by Wisconsin Public Service to retrofit the North Manitowoc Gas Gate Station. Their success led them to commit to additional retrofits like this. The EZHSO (Spring-to-Open) works to ensure gas delivery downstream. The failure action is the opposite of the standard EZH (Spring-to-Close), so the EZHSO will fail in an open position, avoiding gas interruption to downstream applications.
